About the Project

Challenge:

Namma Ooru Chettinadu, a brand selling authentic Chettinad food products and regional specialties, needed an e-commerce store that captured the cultural identity of Chettinad — one of Tamil Nadu’s most celebrated culinary and craft traditions — while providing a modern, easy-to-use shopping experience. The brand needed Shopify’s reliability for India-wide shipping and payment handling, with a custom theme that reflected the richness of Chettinad heritage.
 

Our Solution:​

We designed and built a custom Shopify store for Namma Ooru Chettinadu — using warm, earthy visual language that reflects Chettinad’s cultural identity without feeling dated. The product catalogue was organised across food categories with clear descriptions, ingredient highlights, and origin stories to communicate authenticity. India-specific payment options including UPI and Razorpay were configured, and the shipping setup was optimised for pan-India delivery of perishable and non-perishable food items.
