About the Project

Challenge:

The Tamil Nadu Police Department needed an internal case management system for police officials to track and follow up on cases that had entered the court process — where police are the prosecuting party. Officers were managing court hearing dates, case progress, next required actions, and documentation through manual registers and informal notes, leading to missed hearings, delayed follow-ups, and poor visibility across the department on pending court cases. The system needed to be accessible only to authorised police officials — not the public.

Our Solution:

We built a secure, role-based internal web application for Tamil Nadu Police officials to manage court case follow-ups from within the department. The platform allows officers to log cases, record court hearing dates and outcomes, track next-action requirements, and receive automated reminders via SMS and WhatsApp when a case’s hearing date is approaching. Senior officers get a dashboard view across all pending cases in their jurisdiction. All access is strictly restricted to authenticated police officials — no public-facing components.
